Weekly Update – March 2, 2021

You never really know what to expect when you set out for a meeting on deputation. On my way to Pensacola Friday evening, I left several hours early, expecting to arrive with plenty of time to get to church. Little did I know, I would be stuck in the same spot on the highway for four straight hours.

On I 65 S, a trailer came loose and swung into traffic, causing an eight-car pileup. A semi-truck had flipped over. Thankfully no one was hurt. I stopped about a hundred yards from the scene of the accident.

I wasn’t able to make my Friday meeting, so I went ahead and started making my way to Mississippi for a missions conference starting Sunday and going through to Wednesday.

Please be praying for my wife, and she is not able to travel with me right now because of complications with the pregnancy.
